Description

A UTV report on the announcement of the Northern Ireland squad for the Mexico World Cup in 1986. As well as many veterans of the previous World Cup of 1982, there was room for some new additions such as Bernard McNally of Shrewsbury Town and Philip Hughes the goalkeeper from Bury. The most romantic decision though was to bring Mark Caughey of Linfield. Just a year earlier he had been playing B Division football for the RUC and now he was off to a World Cup in Mexico.
