Description

Ulster Television cameras entered the studios of RTE in Dublin to record Dr Garret FitzGerald, taoiseach of the Republic of Ireland, as he takes part in a phone-in for Northern Ireland's Downtown Radio. Afterwards, he speaks to Norman Stockton for Good Evening Ulster. He says that he always expected Unionist reaction to the Agreement to be negative but that in the long term he feels they will see its benefits as the capabilities of the IRA are reduced.
