As anticipation continues to increase at the prospect of
an agreement being signed between the United Kingdom and the Republic of
Ireland at a forthcoming summit, Peter Robinson speaks to Good Evening Ulster
on proposals for a Unionist counter-summit. He envisions the two main Unionist
parties - of which the DUP was then the smaller - coming together to study the
details being issued on any agreement and to make public their response.
The two rival
Unionist parties would go on to provide a fairly unified front in their protest
against the eventual agreement.
