Description

The leaders of the two main Unionist parties, James Molyneaux and Ian Paisley, are interviewed by Norman Stockton for Good Evening Ulster about the new policy in their ongoing protests against the Anglo-Irish Agreement. They had that day issued a twelve-point plan for civil disobedience, which included a continuing policy of councils not setting rates. Both leaders were keen to denounce the recent trend for violent acts connected to the protests which they considered to be counterproductive and which could be described as disorder, as opposed to disobedience.
