Description

A Good Evening Ulster report by Norman Stockton ahead of the first anniversary rally in protest against the Anglo-Irish Agreement. The police have issued a warning that the event will be hijacked by violent elements, but both Unionist leaders, James Molyneaux and Ian Paisley, are adamant that no paramilitary or uniformed activity will be tolerated or welcome. The leader of the Alliance Party, John Cushnahan, also gives a press conference, in which he condemns the setting up of Ulster Resistance, which has been accused of having paramilitary overtones. He also condemns the Unionist parties for their involvement in the group.
