Description

Speaking to Good Evening Ulster, deputy leader of the SDLP, Seamus Mallon, talks about his party's demands that the Ulster Defence Regiment be disbanded and that they should only be allowed on patrol in the presence of the police. He speaks about being detained by them for no reason in road checks. He also talks to interviewer Norman Stockton about the ongoing Unionist campaign of protest and of rumours that they may be suggesting a declaration of independence or re-partition.
