Following the Loyalist strike in protest against the
Anglo-Irish Agreement, which descended into violence in many areas, Ulster
Unionist leader James Molyneaux was forthright in his condemnation of such actions.
Speaking outside his party headquarters he again voices the concerns that
rioters have undermined the Unionist cause, but is quick to stress that there
has been no fallout with partners in the DUP and that suggestions of a rift
between himself and Ian Paisley over the matter are false.
Ian Paisley is also
on camera to add his own condemnation of the violence and confirm that the
Unionist pact remains firm in their joint opposition to the Agreement.
