Description

Campaign launched to support a Yes vote, in favour of the Good Friday Agreement Referendum.

The campaign was launched outside the Europa Hotel in Belfast. The 'Yes' campaigners described themselves as, "ordinary citizens of Northern Ireland who want to secure a future for our children and ourselves," and believed this could best be achieved through a yes vote in the referendum.

These rushes include footage of the launch and subsequent press conference, with campaigners and advocates.

Credits

Interviewees: Peter Emerson, Peter O'Neill (Northern Ireland Student Centre)

Press Conference: hosted by Quintin Oliver
