Description

A report for UTV Live by Niall Donnelly on the first visit of President Clinton to Belfast. Following his meeting with John Major in London the previous day, the President and First Lady travelled to Belfast, where they proceeded to conduct walkabouts in both the Falls and Shankill Roads. Sinn Fein's Danny Morrison is interviewed on the Falls about Clinton's visit while a shopkeeper whose premises on the Shankill were visited recounts the meeting. Gerry Adams is interviewed on the historic nature of the visit and there are many shots of the President mingling with crowds in various locations.
