Description

Ken Reid reports for UTV Live on the meeting between prime minister Tony Blair and 12-year-old schoolgirl, Margaret Gibney. Margaret wrote a letter to him, urging him to do whatever he could to bring about peace as she had only known one year of it in her life. Touched by her sentiments, Blair invited her to Downing Street. Blair tells Margaret that her letter convinced him to persevere with the process, still fragile at the time in the wake of continued IRA violence.
