Description

Ivan Little reports on the historic visit of President Bill Clinton to Belfast in November 1995. During his short stay he became the highest ever profile figure to switch on the Belfast Christmas lights at the City Hall. Watched by a crowd of thousands both Bill and Hilary Clinton spoke to those gathered and musical enetertainment was provided in the shape of local singers Van Morrison and Brian Kennedy.
